We are so excited. We have a website. Please check us out at www.wpcurlingclub.ca. We are still a “work in progress”; however, you can now see our upcoming events, register for these events and soon you will be able to pay online for your registration.

We hosted the Junior Provincial Championships on January 10 – 12, 2025. These young people are the future champions of curling. Come back next week for an update on the standings.

The West Prince Curling Club at Mill River is looking forward to hosting the Men’s and Women’s Provincial Championships the weekend of January 23 – 26, (formerly the Scotties or Tankards). The top teams from this competition will continue to the National level. Come out and watch some good curling.

Our Tuesday night competitive team continues with their neck and neck standings between Kevin Ellsworth and Daryl MacDonald. It might be worth your time to come out and watch some of the great curling that takes place in the evenings on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday. The bar is open, and the beverages are cold.

Who doesn’t love a roast beef dinner? Especially when it is combined with the top tapping music provided by Louise Arsenault and Johny Ray. You will be able to enjoy both on Saturday, March 15, at the West Prince Curling Club. Tickets are limited and are only $50 each. Call Lin at 902-859-2294 or email wpcurlingclub@gmail.com to book your seat before they are sold out.

Upcoming events include:

January 17 & 18 – Township Chev Bonspiel. Sign up with a team of four to have fun and win some great prizes.

January 23 – 26 – Men’s and Women’s Provincial Championships (formerly the Scotties) will be held here. Come out to watch some great curling.

January 31 – Feb 1 – Tignish Co-op and Home Hardware Bonspiel. Sign up by sending an email to wpcurlingclub@gmail.com or calling Lin at 902-859-2294
