Sweeping News from West Prince Curling Club

It is that time of the year. It is time to sweep off the cob webs from your brooms and shoes and come out to throw rocks with your friends and neighbors.

West Prince Curling Club is excited about offering curling for the entire season this year. We have Jet Ice, providing us with clean, clear ice. As well, by Christmas we will have brand new rocks. What more could a curler ask for?

Our stick league started on Tuesday, November 5. This great group of curlers gets together on Tuesday and Thursday at either 10 in the morning or 1 in the afternoon. There is still plenty of room for people to join this fun group.

Our first open to the public event will be held on Friday, November 15. This is our first of many Friday Night Social curling events. We will make up teams from those in attendance, play a four end game, come off the ice for refreshments, and then curl a second four end game. This is a great way to get together with family and friends for an enjoyable evening out.
