Thursday night Leagues are set up for recreational curling beginning at 7:00pm. Each game consists of 8 end games.

Policy
Regular Curling Leagues and Stick Curling Leagues 1. Purpose This policy ensures that all participants in Regular and Stick Curling Leagues at the West Prince Curling Club at Mill River enjoy a safe, respectful, and organized environment. 2. Etiquette Participants are expected to: • Show Respect: Treat all players, officials, and spectators with respect. Disrespectful language, gestures, or behavior will not be tolerated. • Be Punctual: Arrive at least 15 minutes before game time to allow for warm-up and team preparation. • Maintain Sportsmanship: Congratulate opponents and encourage teammates. Celebrate victories graciously and accept losses with dignity. • Keep the Ice Clean: Ensure shoes are clean and free of debris before stepping onto the ice. Avoid touching the ice with hands or equipment unnecessarily. • Be Ready to Play: Follow game schedules and transitions promptly to avoid delays. 3. Safety To ensure the safety of all participants: • Proper Footwear: Players must wear appropriate curling shoes or clean, non-slip footwear designed for curling. • Protective Gear: Beginners and stick curlers are encouraged to wear helmets or head protection. • Stick Curling Rules: Stick curlers should use proper equipment and follow all regulations to ensure a safe experience for all. • On-Ice Behavior: Avoid running on the ice, respect sweeping zones, and maintain awareness of your surroundings. Report any ice hazards to staff immediately. • First Aid: Basic first aid supplies are available on-site. Injuries should be reported to league coordinators. 4. Attendance • Regular Attendance: Participants are encouraged to commit to the full season and notify their teams if they cannot attend a scheduled game. • Substitutes: Teams may arrange for substitutes if a regular player cannot attend. Substitutes must be registered with the league. • Cancellations: Games canceled due to weather or unforeseen circumstances will be rescheduled when possible. Notification will be sent via email or phone. 5. Compliance Failure to adhere to this policy may result in: • Verbal warnings for minor infractions. • Temporary suspension for repeated violations. • Permanent removal from the league for serious offenses. 6.
